WristFolio FAQ

Common questions about the app.

This page answers the main questions around privacy, data refreshes, Bitcoin amount storage, and what WristFolio is designed to do.

Does WristFolio collect personal data?

No. WristFolio does not collect, sell, or share personal data. The app is designed to keep your BTC tracking private and simple.

Where is my BTC amount stored?

Your entered BTC amount is stored locally on your Apple Watch so the app can calculate your portfolio value. It is not stored in a cloud account by WristFolio.

Where does the Bitcoin price come from?

WristFolio uses CoinGecko for public Bitcoin market data. That lets the app show live BTC pricing without requiring a personal account.

Why is the price not changing right away?

If your Apple Watch has a weak connection or a refresh request fails, WristFolio may continue showing cached data until it can update again. Tap Reload or try again when network access is stronger.

Can I track coins other than Bitcoin?

No. WristFolio is intentionally focused on BTC only. The app is built around a narrow use case instead of a multi-asset trading dashboard.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. There is no sign-in, no account creation flow, and no personal profile required to use WristFolio.

Is WristFolio financial advice?

No. WristFolio is a tracking utility. It is meant to display price information and your own BTC value, not provide investing or trading advice.

What device is WristFolio for?

WristFolio is designed for Apple Watch. The product focus is fast glance-based BTC tracking from the watch, not a broad iPhone finance app.
